Contact and Appointments
Researchers, collectors, students, and hockey enthusiasts are welcome to contact us for inquiries about our research and reference services or to schedule an appointment to visit the Blades of Glory Resource and Collections Center.
Appointments are required for on-site visits to ensure individualized assistance and the safe handling of archival materials. If you are unable to visit in person, our staff can assist with remote research requests via email or virtual consultation.
Research and Editorial Services
The Blades of Glory Resource Centre provides research and editorial services to support historical and educational projects related to hockey, player memorabilia, and equipment innovation.

Service Fees
Research services are available on an hourly fee basis.
Fees vary depending on the type, depth, and complexity of the research required.

A cost estimate will be provided in advance, and work will proceed once authorization is received.
Remote Assistance
For those unable to visit in person, Blades of Glory offers remote research services. Our staff can locate and summarize relevant materials, provide digital images (where permitted), and answer specific historical or artifact-related questions.
Remote research requests are processed in the order they are received. Response time may vary based on the scope of the request and staff availability.
Access and Handling
Access to original game-used, autographed, or fragile artifacts is limited and supervised. Researchers may view items under staff guidance in the designated study area.
Handling of some items may be restricted to staff or trained volunteers to ensure preservation standards are maintained.
Visitors must comply with all preservation, photography, and security policies during their appointment.
Acknowledgment of Source
All published works, exhibits, or media using information or materials from Blades of Glory: The Hockey Stick Archive must include proper acknowledgment of the source.
