Provenance
This Warrior Dolomite Spyne composite stick was used by Nick Spaling during the 2010–2011 NHL season with the Nashville Predators. It was purchased directly from the Nashville Predators Equipment Sale in 2010, a verified source for game-used gear retired from team inventory. Autograph was acquired by BOG staff member and later authenticated through reputable service, James Spence Authentication. Relevant paperwork retained in accession file.
Spaling, a versatile two-way forward, contributed significantly during Nashville’s 2010–11 playoff campaign — notably scoring key postseason goals. This stick represents his first full season as an NHL regular and exemplifies the Dolomite Spyne model’s popularity among forwards for its balanced flex and reinforced taper zone.
Description and Significance
The Warrior Dolomite Spyne was engineered for elite-level responsiveness, integrating a mid-kick point and carbon-reinforced “Spyne” backbone to enhance shot accuracy and power. Spaling’s stick shows tape residue and puck marks consistent with active in-game use, with no post-season refurbishing, maintaining its authentic worn surface.
As part of the Predators’ 2010–2011 lineup, this stick marks a key era in team development — bridging between the early Predators’ identity and the emergence of their modern competitive core. The stick’s silver and blue tribal aesthetic aligns with the team’s secondary palette from that period.
